This Coeur d’Alene Lake retreat combines comfortable living and modern amenities while introducing refurbished industrial parts with new ones. This house features metal tile, granite, travertine, river rock, porcelain tile and quartz. The kitchen backsplash is one like no other. Using the remnants from a metal staircase rail, these rhomboid shaped metal tiles are all scraps recycled into a new, modern backsplash. Installation was quite difficult as these tiles are not an easy task to cut and manipulate. However, the end result is surely rewarding.
Down the main hall you will find a gorgeous powder bathroom finished with a natural stone vessel sink, Rivera Pebbles 4 color blend, a solid wood countertop and flagstone floors. Beautifully constructed and timelessly adorned.
The master bathroom oasis is unforgettable with a freestanding hammered copper tub, 16×16 Durango Cross Cut travertine tile, Oregon Tile & Marble’s Foglia Fascia linear mosaic in bronze, Rivera Pebbles in the color, Gold, and solid surface travertine countertops.
The shower is stunning with a large square rain fall shower head and a custom glass block wall. Travertine walls, bronze linear accents and pebbles complete the look.
The master vanity is a work of art. A massive travertine countertop holds hammered copper vessel sinks. Behind, a thick backsplash ties into the rest of the on-suite creating balance of old world charm and contemporary styling.
Downstairs you will find guest suites complete with their own bathrooms. Each uniquely crafted bathroom has a different layout but similar finishes.
Emser Tile & Stone’s Lucerne 20×20 porcelain tile in color, Alpi, covers the walls of this custom shower. Bringing interest to the space, we bordered it with Rivera Pebbles in their 4 color blend and outlined it in a 1×12 Plaza Estrada liner in color, Bronze.
Up two flights of stairs you will find a transitional sky-bridge connecting the main house with the recreational space. This median between the two features luxury carpet by Shaw’s Caress series. The style, Artisan, is a super soft berber loop style with a irresistible warm color, Dartmoor.
